Cody
"Cody has come a very long way since he first came here in the summer of 2010. Cody, some kind of Flat-Coat Retriever mix, is a rescue dog shipped up here from Texas. Despite all the wonderful care his foster parents gave him in Texas, he still had some obvious issues. When I picked him up at the airport, he was a skinny, nervous little guy. It turned out he started his life with some very painful joint problems. Today, you would never guess he is the same scraggly scaredy dog from that summer. With the help of supplements, pain medications, and Carolyn’s massages, he is finally enjoying everything a dog should enjoy.
He LOVES to play sports with us. He is an intense soccer player, tennis ball retriever, wide receiver, and his MOST favorite – Frisbee finder. He also loves the snow and water and despite our arguments, can’t resist a good mud puddle. After Cody’s first massage, I knew it was going to be part of his treatment plan for the rest of his life. It only took about 5 minutes before he was melting in Carolyn’s hands. She walks in the door and he plops right down at her feet saying “I’m ready!”. Thanks to Carolyn, he can walk, run, and play longer than he ever could before. I highly recommend her massages for any dog, young or old. Thank you!!!"
